Chengdu Best Diamond Bit Company (Bestebit) was
established on July 5, 1999, in Chengdu, China, as a manufacturer of steel and
matrix body fixed cutter PDC bits. Since its inception, the company has
expanded its presence to more than 35 countries. Bestebit's primary focus is on
manufacturing high-quality drill bits designed to compete with global leaders
in the drill bit industry. Over the years, the company has optimized its
design, materials, and manufacturing methods, implementing robust quality
control procedures to ensure top performance in the intended applications.
The company's drill bit cutters, essential
components in its products, have undergone continuous development to meet the
highest performance standards. Initially launching the Eco Series cutters,
Bestebit introduced the Mars Series in 2003, the Tiger Series in 2009, the
Trident Series in 2015, and the Trident+ Series in 2019. Each new series
featured enhanced thermal and impact-resistant properties compared to its
predecessors. Additionally, Bestebit has developed 3D-shaped cutters in various
forms to further enhance drilling efficiency.
In 2014, Bestebit introduced the Shuriken Reamer, a
proprietary dog leg reamer incorporating innovative inserts and design methods
to improve wellbore smoothness, reduce stress on BHA components, and prevent
potential stuck situations. In 2020, the company established a new
manufacturing facility for BESTE-DYNA Drill Motors, licensed by Schlumberger,
with an annual production capacity of 5,000 motors, ranging from 4-3/4” to
11-1/2”. In 2022, Bestebit began manufacturing Schok-Subs, also licensed by
Schlumberger, with an annual capacity of 500 units ranging from 6” to 14”.

and downhole tools. The Application team, working closely with sales and field

necessary changes or to develop new designs.
The steel used in the manufacturing of bits and
tools consists of high-grade alloys, which are additionally heat-treated to
enhance strength and durability in harsh drilling environments. New
technologies employed in the design and manufacturing processes include
reinforcement in the blades to increase strength, high-grade matrix powder to
further optimize design strength, high-grade hard-facing materials to improve
wear resistance, and CFD optimization to enhance cleaning and minimize erosion.
Innovative Cutter Technology and
Reaming Solutions
The key differentiation between Bestebit and its top
competitors in the industry lies in the cutter technology used. Traditionally,
cutters are pressed at low pressure and then subjected to a leaching process to
enhance wear resistance. However, Bestebit does not employ the leaching
technique to improve thermal resistance. Instead, the company develops its
cutter recipes in-house, using minimal cobalt content and pressing them at
significantly higher temperatures and pressures. This approach results in a PDC
matrix with more diamond and less cobalt, providing equivalent or better
thermal resistance compared to leached cutters while maintaining the same
impact resistance as unleached cutters.
Additionally, the Bestebit Shuriken Reamer, with its proprietary design characteristics, offers the advantage of reaming with lower torque compared to competitor reamers.

The collected data is compiled and analyzed to assess product performance and determine the need for product improvements or the design of new products.

check area, grinding area and painting area are contained to prevent harmful
